Two Year Pictures

Kapooka and her Bubba.
Bethany loved sitting on this couch. It was just her size!

Look at those eyes. They are beautiful!

She was playing hide and seek with her dog Spot. She thought it was great that she was wearing a dress with spots!

We have a picture from when she was one with these letters, so we thought we would continue the theme. What you can't really tell is that the dress is a 4T and is above her knees and starting to be short in the arms. She is our big girl at 37 1/2 inches and 37 pounds!
We've ordered real pictures, so hopefully family will be getting some in the mail in March, but since Christmas thank yous were written before New Years and are still sitting on the counter, we will see how the mailing out goes.

Go Colts

While I am officialy in mourning over the Colts loss and really don't want to talk about it. I did want to share one of my friends' blogs. This is why I am such a big fan of this organization. I am sure other teams have similar impacts in their cities, but this is my hometown. I love my Colts!

Wildcat's Birthday!

Wildcat had a busy birthday weekend. He started by placing fourth in the area spelling bee. That was his goal, and we are really proud of him! Sunday was his birthday, and he got to have cake at home. He decided that he would like to skip a meal out, but go out for just cheesecake on a different day.

Tuesday, he found at that he gets to represent our school at the area speech meet. That night we had a light supper and headed to the Cheesecake Factory. We each got our own piece of cheesecake (a big splurge!). Wildcat was really happy that they put a candle in his.

Today, he woke up running a fever, so he got to come with Kapooka and I down to visit his grandparents. Kapooka got her haircut. The sides are FINALLY even with the back. She has been talking about cut and car for two days. She gets to sit in a pink car to get her hair cut (Grandpa and Grandma treat her to a Cookie Cutters haircut and then french fries after). Grandpa entertained Bethany and bought her a fake tomato for her play food while I bought new silk flowers for church. Grandma made yummy potato soup for lunch. Wildcat got to watch a movie and play lots of games with his grandparents. Grandpa took him to Halfprice Books to spend some birthday money. Wildcat read a lot the rest of the day.

Tomorrow is Kapooka's birthday, so we will fill you in on all her presents in her post. She has been practicing at blowing out candles though!
