These are some pictures of Wildcat's birthday. Somehow the pictures got posted in backwards order, but we put trick candles on his birthday cake. Wildcat thought it was great. The rest of us laughed really hard at his facial expressions. I think we are a pretty easy group to entertain. Soon, I will post about Kapooka's party.

Posting On Hold
Well, our house is very disorganized currently. I just can't seem to get back on top of everything after nearly 2 months of everyone being sick almost continually. This weekend I did manage to find my sons' folders and reading book which had been missing for a week. He also found his glasses that he had put in a very safe place so his baby sister wouldn't get them. The hiding place was so safe, we could not find the glasses for 2 weeks.
All that to say, I don't like a blog without pictures. I have tons of cool pictures to post...birthdays, walking, sword fighting (you'll have to wait for the post). However, we can't find our cable to download the pictures. Hopefully I can put in a more focused search in a few days and I will be back to blogging bliss. I can't wait.

Statistics
I have some great pictures. However, they are still on the camera. I will try to get my husband to download them over the next couple of days.
However we did have check-ups on Friday.
Wildcat is 48th percentile in weight, 93d percentile in height, and 3d percentile in BMI (we call him a toothpick with ears).
Kapooka is 95th percentile in weight, 99th percentile in height, and 96th percentile in head circumfrence. She is a nice proportional baby!
Kapooka has also taken off walking. She can walk from one end of the house to the other. She can get up off the floor by herself, and she can do a 180 turn. She is quite proud. She also got a new hairbrush, so she likes to brush her hair!
That's all for now. We are all still fighting a nasty cold, so we are in pure survival mode.

Worship
Yesterday in church, I was so blessed. First of all, both of my kids felt very loved by our church members. They both got tons of cards, presents and hugs to wish them Happy Birthday. There was a funny moment when Kapooka found her new elephant that sings "Do Your Ears Hang Low" during the sermon. Thankfully, since it is my husband who is the pastor, he just laughed as the song was playing. However, what I loved the most was having my arms around my son and then realizing that he was singing during our worship time. This is my recent 8 year old who loves all things boy and especially football. There he was with a tender heart, loving God. I was so proud of him, and thankful to God. Above is a picture of Wildcat playing piano at our Christmas Eve candlelight service. I am so glad that he loves music.
